Zumaia, Getaria and Pasaia: The Heart of the Basque Coast

Did you know that Zumaia boasts one of the world’s most spectacular flysch formations, with over 60 million years of visible history?

Did you know that Getaria is the birthplace of Juan Sebastián Elcano, the first man to circumnavigate the globe?

Did you know that Pasaia is one of the best-protected natural harbors on the entire Cantabrian coast?

If you want to discover the Basque Coast in an active way while exploring some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Northern Europe, this is the tour for you. From the very first minute, we’ll be in direct contact with the sea, exploring cliffs, wild beaches, and fishing villages with a strong sense of identity.

The tour will take us through Zumaia and its unique geological coastline, continue through Getaria amidst txakoli vineyards and its historic center, and finish in Pasaia, crossing its natural bay and historic neighborhoods. Along the way, we’ll make stops at key locations to understand the history, landscape, and culture of the Basque Coast.

A tour designed to discover the essentials, without detours, combining nature, heritage and coast in a single journey.
